About the Course
This course covers applications of calculus to problems of physics and ordinary differential equations. Students will apply theoretical knowledge to analyze a variety of physical systems.
Topics include: velocity, acceleration, elastic vibrations of springs, motion of pendulums, Newton's laws, Kepler's laws, thermal expansion, moments of inertia, center of mass, first order differential equations, bessel's equation, Euler's equations, Laplace transformation, Heaviside operational calculus, stability theory, Lyapunov functions, autonomous systems, asymptotic behavior, perturbation methods.
