About the Course
This course is a standard course in vector calculus to be taken after a course in calculus. The course begins with a study of vector geometry before turning to multiple integrals.
Topics include: vector geometry, cross product, dot product, tangent lines, tangent planes, Frenet formulae, curvature, multiple integrals, mass and density distributions, change of variables, calculation of area and volume, arc length, vector fields, flux, divergence, line integrals, circulation, Green's formula, Gauss' formula, Stoke's theorem, potential fields, multivariable Taylor series.
